I couldn't find a similar poll on the site and because I'm interested in the demographics of Civer's...would you please be so kind as to vote?

Thanks! ;)

P.S. Obviously, there will be quite a few vocations I may have forgotten(or overlooked)and many jobs may be under more than one category...in which case...vote twice! :mischief: Please choose "Criminal" only if it constitues 50% + of your income(if only I had the brains to become a criminal...{sigh}).

P.P.S. I added "Phone Job" only because I have one(work for a Cable TV provider, God help me). And going back to school so that I can someday exit it and never look back!

Currently a baker, and a retired criminal ;)

I'm a working college student...and I do work in the Media but as I do more of the first I suppose that's my demographic, heh.

I put retired, LOL. (I'm only 31.) I'm actually in real estate/property management, but it feels like I'm retired a lot of days. I guess working for yourself can do that. :)

@Padma: I used to do similar work to you. I was in the Army for 9 years (Signal Corps), then got out and woked as a government contractor (network admin) for 3 years. I just couldn't stand dealing with all the egos we had in the office (especially for the pay - the bottom really fell out of the IT market.) Everybody had their own little political agenda, and at least half of our folks were retired colonels/commanders who thought they were in charge (even if their job was deputy assistant paper shredder.) The bright spot really was working with the active duty guys. Some of the marines would buy me a case of beer for fixing their computer (even though I tried to convince them it was my *job*) All in all though, it was just more stress than I wanted to deal with on a daily basis.

Displaced Network Administrator/College level computer instructor. I am now an accountant for a mortgage company making about $10 an hour less than I was making two years ago :(

@ Padma & Grogs...I should have added "military" as an option...sorry! It was late, I was at work(and didn't want to be)and I wasn't thinking. Ft. Knox :spear: is just 20 min's south so there is no excuse...

I work as a procurement consultant. I did not find a match either so I guess it would be financial & manufacturing...

7th Grade! from 11:30 - 2:30 we (literally) do nothing. See says "for science you have blah blah and vocab you have blah blah, for lit you have blah blah now get started on it." We finish our homework then :)

Had to put down 'government', since they pay my salary. Researcher/assistant at a university...

I'm a games programmer these days.

I'm a programmer too.

I think school should've been split into schooling, and educational profession. There's several players who are also teachers.

I'm a college student in a town with no economy, hence the lack of a real vocation.. ;)

I'm still a student (for the next seven months and twenty two days). My future vocation (engineering) is not on there, but i suppose government [contracting] is closest.

Final Destination: Skunkworks

I'm currently a stay at home parent. I was an accountant.
