voice chatting - is this thing functional?

Hello everybody.
Does anybody knows how to enable voice chatting in multiplayer? Is this option available? I don’t hear any sound my friends are sending me, and they don’t hear me.

What key are you using to talk? I cant remember which it is, ... ah, the keyboard layout template says it's Scroll Lock to chat to team, and Ctrl-Scroll Lock when in Diplomacy screen. And Shift-Scroll Lock to talk to ALL.

Currently I’m not using any keys because I don’t know which one to use, We tried scroll lock, but nothing happened. Maybe because we ware not on the same team. :S Anyway, we’ll try that combination, so thy for help. Where can I bind those keys, in what file?

I tried it in MultiPlayer, two humans, 11 total countries, biggest map... early in the game:

It ... was there. It transmitted voice, but the lag grew longer and longer. The first sentence was fine. The second sentence was choppy. By the third sentence, there was delays of several seconds between words... and the processor (or possibly bandwidth, but not likely) became caught up in the voice use... that is, the game slowed WAY down as the voice eventually 'connected' with the other side, one word at a time. :/ *shrugs*

But, that's just my attempt. Anybody else have a go at it?

yeas, sucess! But, like U grimshok, my happines wasn't long. Sound I was getiing wasn't understandable, and when I tride to speak (tried it 3 times), first no response from the game, than game crash....
And from some reason I can't use teamspeak while in Civ...
