Vote for Sid Meier's Civilization I and II (MGE & Test of Time) to be added to GoG

Just took a look at the Dreamlist. Civ 1 has 19,211 votes so far, and Civ !! 17,385. My suggestion for Civ II Fantastic Worlds has not even been placed there yet. Wondering how many people it will take to get a game listed? Anyone know what the threshold is for a game to be placed on GoG's store list?

Ultimately it comes down to whether gog can do a deal with the licence holder. The wishlist can guide them towards focusing on particular games but it can't force the publisher to agree if they don't want to.

Yeah I checked yester and there was STILL no Test of Time despite me doing it multiple times and others here and elsewhere doing it too grrr.

Personally I worry that those separate dreamlist entries for Conflicts, Fantastic Worlds and MGE entries diluting and taking votes away from the main Civ2 one, really only Test of Time should have it's own entry. Hopefully people are still doing the main Civ2 one when they vote for the other ones as the closer that gets to the top the higher priority it takes with GoG management. I think it's unlikely that the main Civ2 one would result in them just getting the old vanilla Civ2 in stores lol, especially considering it's a 16bit app, it'll be MGE with the addons included surely. GoG releases are usually always that final complete/gold/deluxe edition when one existed. However I do worry that Test of Time being the kind of standalone separate thing it is WILL be forgotten if a fuss isn't kicked up by us.

I did not think about the possibility of my suggestion for Civ 2: Fantastic Worlds taking votes away. But maybe the GoG folks might ignore it and stick with just the original and ToT. Hopefully no damage will be done. Fortunately though, I still have the original game discs of Civ 2, ToT and Fantastic Worlds, but unfortunately my desktop PC died a few years back and I have not got around to replacing it, even though I do have a laptop to play games on with my Steam and Epic accounts.
