VOTE: Marijuana Legalisation Act.

After a long think:
I VOTE: Abstain.
As a member of the PLP I was asked to vote yes on this subject. But I can't swallow that completely. To legalize POT (easier than marijuana) means letting drug addicts and other none-users get high and potentially ruin their lives is not a good thing in my opinion. But it is also my duty as a member of the party to vote on what the party stands for. I cannot find a compromise between my personal beliefs and the party, therefore I abstain.

The PLP will never impose a party line on our members.

Moderator / Methos, this is the first law of Civilitas, the legalization of Marijuana That is historical and quite eccentric actually. Adds to the character of the nation. It still needs to go into the Law Library.

For your reference, I add a map showing the legality of Marijuana (dark blue color). We are along with Quebec, Peru and Spain one of the few areas of the world this is legal.
