Yeah. What is going to happen to GMR games in progress? While it might be a bit of a pain for the guy chosen to do it, I'd very much prefer to a) try for a 30 min live session to get up to speed fast on a map that's modded resource wise to look the same, or b) have someone mod up a map with the current state of play, would not take overly long, than a TOTAL restart. Its been 2 months!
Don't worry, GMR admin got it ready. The patch comes overnight so it takes time to launch the new GMR version.
Oh and you can disable the auto-closing of CiV by the GMR desktop app under the app's settings, which you can find by clicking on your avatar in the top-right corner![]()
Is there a way to use this new feature to download, take turn and upload turn to GMR for multiple games without closing and restarting Civ?
As he said, you can 'disable' auto closing by clicking your icon in the GMR application at the top right now.
After clicking 'save' the turn (up right), click 'main menu' (down left), the use 'alt-tab' to switch to GMR application, 'submit' your turn.
then select any other game that is your turn, 'play turn now!' will try to start CiV, but it tells you CiV already running. now the new save has been downloaded and the old '(GMR) play this one!' save file was overwrite. That's how I take turns after the patch, very quick, no restart.
It is especially good for those of us that usually wake up to 5+ game on gmr![]()

And regarding SWTOR, is the game better now? I played quite a lot but I got quite bored after a while.
