first, a little background. played civ about 15 years. civ1, played at deity and won 50% of the time. civs2, played at emperor with great difficulty. civ3, played at monarch/emperor, barely survived. played civ4 since intro and haven't really enjoyed it. won a couple of times at emperor using the raze ploy. this wasn't satisfying even though i did get a high score of 78,000. i was so frustrated i was thinking seriously of going back to civ1. read a few strategy tips, didn't really help, THEN, about 2 weeks ago, i read Sulla's civ4 walkthrough and WoundedKnight's strategy guide. now imho, these are both Must-reads if you aren't enjoying the game. i thank you both. just in case you don't know where to find these, go to civ4 war academy and schroll down.
