Meh, they teleport at those distances, the animation is just running towards a portal and then exiting at another one, both in the same tile ;)

Atleast I think they teleport. I`m just talking jibberish, cos I can`t do it over at Goldie`s thread anymore :crazyeye:

:bump: Rage have you started building this thing yet? or are you still just planning? Any screenshots yet? Remember, we want blood!!!!

On another note I figure your using a lot, if not all of muffins units. Do you plan on decreasing the size of any cause I'm finding them a little on the large side compared to all the other units I have in my mod....
 
We are still just planning :) I have a few projects on the side too, so its going a bit slow. As far as blood is concerned, we`re as dry as a vampire`s victim in 8AM :crazyeye:

We won`t be decreasing any units, cos Space Marines are huge SoB-s :D
But you can always request it :)
 
I don't want to waste requests on something I can do. It's just time consuming and tedious and I need to save the requests for alternate c&p attacks for the Mechs.
I was thinking of splitting the work load if you were interested in scaling them down a bit. Have you compared them to the scale of 40k units from other creators(great apple) in game to see if they match?
 
Um, I don`t think we`ll be using much of TGA`s units, now that aaglo has re-mastered them, probably just the Rokkit kan, the Dreadnought and the Bike.

Scaling a butt load of units to match those 3 would be unnecessary. Ask around if anyone is interested in splitting the work with you, it doesn`t need to be related to this mod :)

I had to use the Search button to find this baby! :)

I was thinking about the water problem and I think I might`ve solved it. The planet has some magnetic anomally preventing any hover-thingy bigger than a tank (a big tank! ;)) to fly, so everyone has to use ships. And cos smaller hover-crafts can fly the SM can use the Land speeder, the Eldar can use their tanks, and the Tau pilots won`t be feeling left out either :)

What do you think?
 
Well, first, they don`t hover, except the maybe the Thunderhawk, they fly like normal planes do. Second, they are ignored, except the Thunderhawk.

But don`t worry, the civs that won`t be using the planes that already exist already have 5 or 6 units more than civs who don`t have planes at-all, so we are not loosing much.

Bah, why have acidic water when you can have strange sea aliens? Just let them squirt acid/ink/electricity on small helpless ships. :)
 
hmm.. maybe put in the Tyranid off-shoot the Kraken, a vicious aquatic squid thing. its in some fluff. then, have that as a barb too (kin's squiddie)
 
Wait.. what does acidic water have to do with ships that hover above it? Vapours or something? Hover higher than! And what about the water related improvements? And lakes? I think we`ll stick with the magnetism for now, if I don`t get anymore feedback :)

Also, I kinda wanted to give the modern pirate ship to LatD and Chaos :) And the transport is definately in, and it ain`t exactly heavy weight.

Kraken could work, since the WH mod is giving him the boot, we`ll adopt the cute little fella :)
