Ack, one more problem, when I try to play it gives me the message
ERROR READING FILE
Missing entry in text/PediaIcons.txt: TECH_Domestication
Any way to correct that?

What is it here? :hmm:
That part is definitely in the 2.x mod...
If you're talking about the .bix here, then this doesn't work with C3C.
 
It is ED's Warhammer map, I downloaded the new one and it showed up finally but when I try to play the map it gives me that message.
 
Haha, I kept downloading it from the old file that I thought was new so it was still a .biq, the new file was off to the side of the screen and I didn't know it was there until I saw the scroll bar at the bottom :rolleyes: :lol: But I am succesful now! This is a great mod, you did alot of hard work and it turned out great. :clap:

Edit: My bad for double-posting, very sorry, if some mod sees this and wants to tack it on to the other be my guest :)

Thank you again for your masterpiece. It seems I only play your mod nowadays.

Of course, sitting on your laurels and sipping martinis in a carribean island is a good thing (R) but, in the event that you decide to return to this most valiant of undertakings, what would your plans be?
 
I just started playing this mod and love it! My hat goes off to all who put countless hours into making this mod!

I am just curious about one thing. Can you clear jungles in this mod? I stated with the Naggaroth and can't seem to clear them. Thanks again!

No, jungles are permanent, though they are a bit better than the jungles you know from epic game.

I'm working on 2.03 patch that contains some new units etc. and mod variations. Then you can expect some maps and scenarios, hopefully. From other projects I had plans for MEM2, W40k units and various leaderheads but due to limited time I don't know how much of it I will ever do.
 
I am unable to complete the download from either the CDG or the (other, forgot) server, with either Firefox or IE. IE says the server is resetting. I get about 3% through before I get booted.

Mind you, it might have something to do with a staggeringly slow connection. I am in Afghanistan, you see, and the high speed cable network here is... incomplete.

Any ideas? I am very sad, this sounds like such a rave mod and I sure could use the escape. Persian vs. Mongol wars are just a bit too real in these parts.

Guess you don't want to see my current game. :mischief: (I'm the Persians - world map, random starts)

Anyway, you can use a download resume tool like GetRight. That might help so you don't have to keep re-downloading from scratch.
 
Hi all, i' m writing from Italy and i have to say, embryo :king: your mod is GREAT!!! i have the italian version of C3C and to play the mod i had to rename all the units files in the ART directory of CIV3 and seems to go well... :cry: but i have one problem! i miss the very first worker, when i play new games i have only the settler e no first worker..is it an author's choice not to give civ the first worker or what? PLEASE HELP ME!

besides this your mod is great embryo, GREAT JOB! :goodjob:
 
Yes it's a choice, but you should not worry since your opponents get no starting workers either. It is done due to the fact that factions in the mod have their own, different workers.
 
Warhammer Fantasy and Warhammer 40,000 are two different table-top games made by the same company, Games Workshop. Warhammer Fantasy is obviously a fantasy strategic game, while W40k is science-fiction. It is more or less ok to say that Warhammer 40k happens 40k years later... Obviously, the mods are completly different as well... one has "elvin dragon spirit dog fighters and crystals and crap" and the other has "terminators aliens lasers and tanks and crap" to paraphrase someone ;)

Hi, I downloaded and am playing v 2.02 on random map... very very nice indeed :)
I would work a bit more on terrain graphics though, there are better around.

I read in the readme.html that there should be also other .biq files with a semi-random map and a real map... but they were not included in the installation and I can't seem to find them anywhere. Any help please ?
