Ok, I'll tell you what he wants. ;)
He wants to bump the Chaos Dwarf Warrior up to the 6/4/1 Iron position and remove the black orc warrior from the CD's. That's the result of a MSN discussion. :hammer:

In other news you'll see a resource change, and some new gfx.

And the unclean One. :)

I like the idea of removing orcs from the CD`s, people say there are orcs fighting for cd`s, other people say that smells kinda funky :), I`m with the other ones. Can you tell us wich resources? They all seem fine to me...
Unclean One is for Chaos? Just how many units are those guys gonna get? Green + axes, now that`s what we need :)

I`ll satisfy with being a mindless minion :)
 
dUDSES, HOW ABOUT FLYING UNITS PATCH?

How about to make them weaker (lower attack and much lower defence) but real flying (civ air units)

After balancing that will be great to attack some buddys with dragons/bats over sea.
 
Dwarves: Playing them for the first time (2.17) and would like to request an artillery bump. I just can't see a reason to ever build dwarven artillery.

You have 0/6 -v- 6/4 warrior (same tech age)
You have 0/8 -v- 8/5 warrior (same tech age)

No advantage of artillery. Move the same, same offense, more vulnerable. How about bumping +1 or +2 so 0/7(8) and 0/9(10) ... this way it has some reason to exist.

Goblin / Orcs: Just finished playing and comment on the squigoth. While it is impressive, doesnt' really strike fear into the enemy (easily countered by ogre's). On the other hand, I can build 2 squigoths for every 1 wyvern. Have about make it 14/8(6) +3 HP and double its cost. Would make it on par w/ the wyvern. Can pick slow tank or fast skimmer, either or.

We're trying to keep to embryodeads original vision, and he specifically said that it's silly if you can destroy a dragon just by entering its airport/lair. I agree, and I'm sure the other guys do too.

You can of course modify your own game to your liking, but you'll not see it in any official patch. :)

@Lomion, I'll see what the others think about it. But, however it ends up, it's usually good to bring a couple of arty along for the dwarves. They can knock off a couple of hp's, at no risk to themselves.

OK, so the dragons are too strong to be destroyed when a unit captures the city, what about gryphons and such? I don`t mind it staying as it is, but I`m posting this as support for :eek: :eek: commander jac :eek: :eek: who came up with the manticore request (it made my day), and who could atleast support his own request in the WH unit request (part 2) thread (request x3, support x2...)! AND THAT`S A BIG HINT... It has 0 (zero!) posts...people don`t like me or something? :confused: :(

Also, on that suggestion I made for making race specific armies...first you get a leader, right? And they all look the same, right? Can you upgrade a leader (just the dude, with no units loaded, and no army created)? Maybe that way we could have race spec. armies...? I mean, you`ve got to bring him to a city to build an army, if you have barracks, no problem. If you don`t, than you can probably fill the army with weak units and that army won`t last long anyway...
Aaglo said he was interested in maybe making those units so I came up with this (could you use those extracool flags you`ve made?). Now its your (mrtn, mr.do or someone) turn to shatter my dreams. Again.. ;)

Edit: just noticed that the Teutonic knight by Bebro has a really cool horned helmet, maybe someone could tweak that unit to look more chaos like, so we get a new gfx for the chaos knight? I really like the old one, but it seems kind of too small... "Someone" not meaning any of you busy guys, so there, its just a general request :P
 
I noticed yesterday that the first defender for the wood elves is wielding a sword, which seems a bit alogical since the smithing tech comes later. One cannot help but wonder if the wood elves just came across a heap of swords lying somewhere. :mischief: Should this be changed?
 
I know that lots of people are posting requests and you guys are increadably buisy but i think the bretts should have a Grail knight with the awakaning tech

hi everyone.
i`m playin civ for a long time now and i`m quite familliar with modding but i have a little problem:
I coudn`t find the pcx-files for the tech tree
Does anybody know were to get it?
maybe threre is a problem with the german version but i don´t think so

OK, after playing the anno domini mod for a couple of minutes some ideas came to me (in a very strange dream, you were in it, George, and Mrs.Jennigns poodle.. khm, yes, back to the topic:))

Dom Pedro II`s Hun unit is just perfect for Ungols (you choose, smithing or steel?)
And also, I noticed the Dolgans don`t have any units like infantry, pikemen, knights, in the dark ages... I know they`re probably the least played civ in WH but still, they`re so crippled... Maybe adding a religious streamline like a bearcult or something for them would fix that? You could use Dom Pedro II`s Hunter unit, that would upgrade to that Tracker or whats-his-name (nature lore), which could than upgrade to a (and here`s where you`ll say no, I can just smell it) werebear. And give those boys a germanic spearman, that gladiator is gonna freeze!

R8XFT (creator of anno domini) has made some nice units, like his saxon swordman and pikeman that could replace Brettonia`s swordman and spearman, the colors fit perfectly. Same thing with his Normans and Reikland. (He also made that Goth marauder, that`s my personal favorite, but it doesn`t have civ color markings on it, so I suppose he would look weird in light-blue next to the rest of Norsca`s units. Maybe Westerland? No? Didn`t think so.)

Arabia, Ind, Khemri and Lahmia could use Civ Army`s 1994`s Harappan settler.

Utahjazz7`s Harad swordman would fit nicely for Arabia`s smithing unit, that way Arabia and Ind don`t share the swordman gfx. Btw, that unit is originaly called medieval indian swordman or something, right? How come its an ancient unit for ind? I think it should go to steel, and indic infantry to smithing (the unit doesn`t have any armor on it...).

Also, his Easterlig unit looks great, I wish it was more norse style (no eastern clothes, and that curved shortsword), it would be awesome for a Norse dwarf unit! Can anything be done about this?

OH, YEAH, AND WHERE THE HELL IS EVERYONE!?
 
I second your ideas Stormrage, but I'm not sure if people can use R8XFT'S Units (that is how you spell his name) untill a latter date.
