Warhammer Fantasy Mod 2.1

The beasts are looking for us.....but only if you unzip the little terrors into the right place !!!
Mine appeared in the resource index but not on the map !!
.but its OK now:goodjob:

Ill check it out thanks.
My point was that the actual beast resource that allows building of wolf riders etc appeared in the resource list but did'nt appear on the actual map until I reinstalled the resources 2.20 patch into a different folder. But its all fixed now so thats that
Hawkmoon :smoke:

civpedia bug found: spearman civpedia entry doesn't say that chaos can have them, but they can

EDIT: another thing, in the dwarf diplomacy. i demanded a city from them, and he was annoyed and called me a "wtiless" something or other. i presume this is supposed to be "witless"

Thanks. :)
One bug I already found is that the cold one knight pedia says it can ignore forest and jungle movement cost, but it's only jungle that works in the game.

I was playing around modding the mod, and decided that every civ should have a chance to get a skaven clanrat unit from a goody hut (yep, I'm not very familiar with WH lore so I just assumed there is such a thing as a friendly skaven...). Well, on receiving my first free conscript clanrat from a goody hut I got a hint of what the illustrious creator of this mod thought about hut generated units, since the text accompanying the rat was "A BUG! Call embryodead for help."
It must have been great fun to be his betatester... :D

I can't install 2.0. I've installed the latestest civ patch so I'm at v 1.22. I try to run the warhammer-mod-2.0.exe and I get this error message:
---------------------------
16 bit MS-DOS Subsystem
---------------------------
C:\DOWNLO~1\games\CIV3_S~1\WARHAM~1.EXE
The NTVDM CPU has encountered an illegal instruction.
CS:056b IP:01ae OP:63 73 73 22 20 Choose 'Close' to terminate the application.

Does anyone know what this means? I've tried to install it from different directories and I've try to install it from the command line. I need to do this before I can intall the WH 2.01 patch and the 2.11 install, correct?

Thanks,
Travis

Welcome to CFC eastepp! :wavey: (mrtn is so gonna kill me for stealing his "hello")

This one I haven`t seen before, and we have people with installation problems on almost every page :) I`m sorry, I can`t help you, one of the modders probably will be able to tho, I just stopped by to say hi (and it rhymes ), I like it when we get fresh blood :p

All this has been written under the influence of seeing Grandraem`s Orc LH. I`m just so impressed and excited :yup:

Hey, Thanks for the welcome, guys.

Yes, my civ3 version is in English. I thought that maybe I had gotten a corrupted warhammer-mod-2.0.exe because the file is only 14k but I downloaded it again and it's the same size and I have the same problem.

I restarted my computer and disabled my virus protection so I have no idea why I'm getting this error.

Thanks Again
Travis

You have a corrupted file. Try to clear your Temporary Internet Files and redownload. The file should be several hundred MBs, not 14k...

And I'll join Stormrage in saying...
Hi! Welcome to CFC! :wavey:

Traderoute2 warhammer
hi there, first of all i want to say, great work!
Now i have a favour to ask you, is there any possibility for you to help us out here at the civ4 modding forum. we are doing / starting a warhammer FB mod for civ4 too, and i just wanted to ask you, if the sprites you created for civ3 are shots from 3d models u created and animated, if so, would it be possible for you to send these 3d files to a 3d artist in our team (dont know if we have one by now, but we will get one, otherwise i will take this task). furthermore what program did u use to do these models?

http://forums.civfanatics.com/showthread.php?t=160076

want to say, your help would be enourmos and your place in the glorious hall of fame would be reserved

so looking forward to an answer from you,

seZereth

The short answer: no.

The long answer: The units have been created by an immense number of people, and most in 3d programs that I've heard is non-compatible with Civ 4. But you'd have to ask those people (about 30?), some of who don't frequent this board anymore. So, this is really the wrong place to ask, and there is no right place yet (if you want a positive answer ;)), as far as I understand it.
