There are ratings? I've always just looked at the number of responses to the mod threads. More means more interest, meaning more people checking it out, meaning it's probably worth checking out!
Bad idea, if everyone would do that, it would mean that nothing would be worth to check out anyway, starts with 0, will always stay at 0
anyway, you can be asured that the rating system will always be bad. I always check IDBM or whatever it's called for movie ratings...sometimes just the most awesome movies(at least for me) are rated 2 or so..mostly the more a movie needs brains to understand what's going on, the lower the rating is...asynchron movies get low ratings by default..most people can't follow the movie then, and so they just say it's bad because their brains are not large enough to handle it...
dunno if this applies to the gaming community as well, god i hope not, but anyway, it's just to point out, ratings themself mean NOTHING at all!
People might give a bad rating, because just 1 problem they have, and they never take the courage to put an issue at the creator(so he never know) but visa team normally fixes issues pretty fast and they do take all your comments for consideration..i think, that's just personally, that good support will always lead to rating 5..but if people just uninstall, rate 1, and never tell anyone about it...well..that's not rating, that's beeing even to lazy to ask for help!
And i think latter issue will be more realistic to the gaming community then the example on the rating of movies..but i just want to stress out:"rating will always be bugged!"
