Is this the successor of the fantasy strategy game called Warlords II? Cos I have done a quick search for Warlords III once, but it gave the impression it's a RPG (and thus entirely different)...

I looked last night for Warlords III and the main forum was closed down.

Just get Warlords IV, I think that is out.

WarlordsIII is the direct sucessor and refinment of the TBS game WarlordsII. You are thhinking of Warlords Battlecry, from the same developer. I do not have warlords battlecry, but I believe it is some sort of fusion of RTS and TBS and maybe some RPG in it.
I am old evough to have seen the original carbord game when it came out over 30 years ago, as I was with the original Civiliztion board game.
