When it comes to a game review, a lot of it is simple user / reader / writer opinion. There are no "objective" game reviews, there never were, and there never will be.
When you call a game review (by a Steam user or a employed professional) "bad", this either means it is bad on a technical level (grammar, etc) or you simply didn't agree with it. Three people can have three different opinions on a game.
Doesn't make any of them right or wrong. It's simply information to be read, that informs your viewpoint as a consequence. I might not agree with a review from a site, but I can learn from it.
