a "cold desert" is basicly a tundra if i remember correctly.
If your talking about the editor, i thought that TUNDRA must be seperated from everything else by 1 grassland... or is that conquest (just me?) only?
it doesnt have to be hot to be a desert.
desert are named based on amount of rain recieved yearly or something.
a area can be cool, warm, hot, ect. but its rainfall that determin its status.
so.. "not so cold but not very hot at all", get little rain.. = desert..
sand.. dry dirt or not.
... can someone confirm this?
been a while since ive read a geography/earth science book...
