AFAIU it is static, he pasted the same pic 121 times.

Hikaro, I have to join the others and say that Bob the Happy Squirrel doesn't really look like a skaven.

Okay, I said I wasn't going to make it already...

Reminds me of the "tribal council" government in conquests :)

That's going to be great

on another note, i've quit my chaos game after my best city (kara-something i think) was destroyed by a volcano. i was literally about fifteen turns away from achieving a city culture victory too :(

should i start a story playing with Chaos next time i start playing?

Well i guess they can since it happened to me :)

I don't usually either, but it was such a good location. the volcano had already erupted four times in the first few turns, so i thought it might be safe.

evidently not

playing as the empire now. despite my name, i'm planning to attack the Lizardmen soon. building an army of longbowmen, gonna take on those cold-bloods soon :)

Heh..... Here's a quick preview of my next chapter or so.... I've managed to contact the Empire in my game as the dwarves, and it seems like they're playing the same way I was playing them during my first WH 2.2 game (i.e. Karl franz decides to change the Reikland emblem for the symbol of the Galactic Empire...)

I may have to go to war with them to keep them from getting too powerfull.... but hopefully not before I research Dogs of War (so I can build Troll Slayers and the Fighter's Guild Charter).

Start a story, LMR, yeah, baby! Woot! :) Volcanos can be nasty, Scy, you know that barbarian orks that you planted near Reikland? They came down on me (went all the way south to Bad lands) and were missed by a volcano erruption by a turn! Lucky bastards! Then they ransacked one of my unimportant cities. :( (it sucks that barbarians dissapear when they attack a city tho, if they are kicking butt, they should do so until "eliminated").

Sorry about those Stormy, I planted them there so they could slow Reikland's settling race. But I have to confess that I never lost any units or towns to a volcano. I thought all a volcano did was to spill polution on your lands giving your workers a hard time :).
So let me see if I understand correctly: a volcano can kill units and turn a city into ruins?

I started playin as Kiselev (needed testing anyway) on my map. I just put a volcano behind the capitol but didn't erupt yet so I started a war with Reikland and won 2 cities in 1 turn. Didn't find Mordheim yet but I promise when I do I will raise it to the ground ;) .
BTW I just remembered - the Norsca don't have archers! since we are talking about a new patch why not give them the archer Uthajazz made?

that'd be good for Norsca, but not for Chaos, since a big part of the Chaos tabletop armies is that they have no missile troops

it is a good unit isn't it!

my empire game is going quite well. i destroyed the lizardmen pretty easily, but then got attacked by the amazons on my other flank! i almost lost a city i have on the land bridge connecting the two landmasses, which would've been bad, but one of my regular spearmen defeated three amazon archers and two berserkers, all by himself. he became elite too!

anyway, got together with albion and ind, and formed the "Grand Triple Alliance" and crushed the amazons. they ran away screaming like little girls! oh, wait, they are :)

then i found out that the kislevites are kicking my ar$e in points. i'm still in a strong position, and will be the strongest after taking over albion (eventually)

Hello fellow WH mod players,

I am seeking some help and advice. I always play the mod as a conquest game, my settings are usually always set as conquest, allow cultural conversions, accelerated production, and allow scientific leaders. I have played as the orcs, chaos, and dark elves so far, and i wanted to try the Empire out, so i started a game on regent level with AI aggression set to max. I played peacefully to the second age, expanding with settlers and trading techs and such. The High elves are my neighbors directly to the west, with the orcs set up directly to my east, and chaos in the south. The orcs started a war with the elves and soon I had units from both sides poring into my borders. I gave right of passage to the elves-since my relations were great with them, and i figured that sooner or later either chaos or the orcs would cause trouble for me. I built up my forces slowly but steadily--gathering strength to attack the orcs. When I finally did, things went well for a while--but then my cities started to revolt en masse. I am not used to playing a monarchy. I understand how to combat unhappiness (not a newb to civ 3) but it seemed that i couldnt get a handle on my war weariness/unhappiness. i had some great wonders built( cant recall the names) that helped with unhappiness, but only about half or less of my cities had castles--which i read in the civopledia helps to reduce war weariness. My question is should i wait untill i have castles set up in all my cities, and will their effect be enough to help with a prolonged war.? I had to pump my happiness spending up to 30 percent, then reduce my scientific spending at one point to 10 percent just to cover my shrinking treasury. The orcs were at war with the elves for several turns, and seeing the amounts of troops they fielded, I am sure they were using mobilization to full effect. How can i conquer as a monarchy, and combat the ill effects at the same time? should i make sure that i have a castle, temple and shrine, brewery in all cities? I couldnt conquer any orc cities because i was cleaning up the forces they had near my cities first--when that was finished i started to move across there borders but it seemed that every turn my cities were in revolt. Well this has been a perhaps to long post--but any helpful advice would be appreciated.

Welcome to CFC!

my first piece of advice is to break your long posts into paragrahs. makes it easier to read :)

I'm playing as reikland (empire) at the moment, and i too was surprised by the sudden explosion of war weary people. and my answer to that was attack full throttle until i had completely destroyed the albioners :D

i'm sure building all those "happy" buildings would help, especially the war weariness reducing ones, but if you're like me and like war, i tend to build up a large force then "blitzkrieg" the enemy in about five turns or so.

my aim is to take three large cities and their capital, then try to grab some of the smaller cities off them when i ask for peace :)

i know this hasn't really answered your question, though :(
