And cos they are cool!
The unit will have a higher attack than most other 2nd defenders, I suppose, like the current beastman unit.

. Did you see those chaos warriors from the Mark of Chaos trailer? They were twice the size of a man.Cam, we don't need a pikeman, we already have the Swiss Mercenary.CamJH said:Those swordsmen and pikeman of the empire would be fairly easy to put together thanks to Kinboat's Landsknecht model. I spent about half my day yesterday reinstalling Poser (along with all the other programs needed) plus redownloading models like crazy. I actually stumbled across some things that would work for the chaos halberdier. The trick will be to see if I could use them along with KB's oversized trolloc bodies (I'm guessing from the concept art that these are somewhat larger than the average man). It'll take quite a bit of work to resize everything just right, but it could be fun.
We could use swordsman, spearman and/or a halberdier (this one the least), but don't feel that you have to do them all, unless you want to, of course. If you do, I hope that you try to change the model as much as possible from one to the other (change colours and suchlike, possibly helmets and armour too), as the landsknechts wore individual clothes, there were no uniforms as such.

I could render the animations at a different size to make the units larger, or I could just enlarge specific body parts of the original pdm and its clothing models (which I haven't ruled out). But the models I came across that could work for the chaos halberdier weren't created with the pdm in mind, so I'd most likely have to do some adjusting even if I created around that figure. Either way, it's gonna take some tweaking. Plus, one of the trolloc bodies is basically a massive pdm (think it's what KB used when he was working on his Conan unit), so I think most of his clothing figures could conform with just a little work. Will have to wait and see. Still downloading service packs for Poser to make it work better and searching out models and such that I had prior to my crash that I used quite frequently (should've backed upmrtn said:About the trolloc bodies, wouldn't it be easier to just make the resulting units a bit bigger, if you want them that way?![]()
). Most likely won't get to start messing with it til tomorrow.
