Preview: Imperial Swordsman
** Not final version of model **

still to come:
- make emblem for shield
- change texture for helm
- other possibilities

Just wanted to give you guys a preview for my possible next unit.
Feedback and suggestions are welcome.

holy god that unit looks good

i think his hand should be behind the shield for safety purposes
and i think the emblem should be a roman style egale or a dragon head or a lion on its hind legs or mrtn's beautiful face

For the emblem, I was planning on the black eagle on yellow (or possibly civ-color) background like the miniatures, but didn't have time to put one together earlier. And I aggree bigdog, the hand will be protected by the shield. That was not the pose for the unit animations, only one I did real quick for the preview.

Great start!
I think you should make the red civ colour, that way we can give it to Marienburg too (and possibly Estalia and Tilea, we'll have to see how the completed lines look like).
Don't put my ugly mug on the shield, as bigdog wants. I'd suggest a civ coloured background on the shield and then a bulls head or a skull for example on it. That symbol could be black.

Looks like it will be another exalent unit, I agree with stormy, about just empire and westerland, although I would be tempted to make it sylvania too as that is part of the emire "culture" in a way estelia and tilea arn't.

I agree, give it to the Empire and Westerland only...maybe also to Sylvania. But not to Tilea and Estalia! And a skull seems a nice ideea.

I think it would suit Sylvania for the first age, also can someone explain about the undead units, how come some upgrade some dont, which have unit costs etc... cos right now I am very confused

The red in the preview will be the civ-color. I probably will not make the shield background civ-color though. I'm afraid it would blend in too much with the left leg at civ-scale.
