Has anyone ever had this happen to them before?
On a huge map, I had a source of incense become "exhausted" and reappear in the exact same square.

I have never seen, experienced, read, or heard about this even being possible. Sounds like some sort of glitch if it came back in the same square.

What game/patch? I though only iron did that!

Iron used to do that often in PTW, before the latest patch.

Every strategic resource except horses and rubber will do that. I have never seen a luxury do that though.

Sorry, I should have pointed out that Incense is not a luxury resource in my game, it'se a strategic resource. Using the DyP mod.

one time a source of iron became exhausted then reappear somewhere else then that became exhausted it reappered where it was before

It's used to build temples and other religious structures.
Anyway, it didn't go somewhere else, then come back. It just was exhausted there and reappeared in the exact same place.

Yes, Strategic Resources have that happen all the time.

Actually, the odds vary greatly, depending on the map, but it happens often enough that most of us have seen it happen at least once or twice over the years we have been playing.

Happened to me today -- Standard, C3C 1.15. My uranium left me and came back to the same place on the same turn. Didn't hurt me any, I had another.
