i'm wondering if i can get up out of my chair without making a noise. pushed myself a little too hard in my gym class yesterday and have pulled muscles in my arse, thighs and calfs. walking is bad enough, standing up is hard, stairs are AGONY.

Mirc - you are so wrong.

Mirc - you are so wrong.

Why? From what I've seen, it's something connected to a Sci-Fi book and the name of a guy in a band:

"K2 is a Swedish hard rock band which is formed by former Europe guitarist Kee Marcello, bassist Klatuu and former King Diamond drummer Snowy Shaw".

Mirc, you are so wrong because the phrase "Klaatu barada nikto" comes from the cult film Evil Dead 3:Army of Darkness

Evil Dead is so much cooler tho.. and i would assume it was mentioned here due to that film rather than TDTESS.

Posting...while in the middle of class

Ooh you rebel!

I am getting ready to do some Latin vocabulary memorizationismizationismizationismization, and then some RE revision.

Actually the first time i've heard the phrase was in a cartoon when i was a kid (don't remember which tho - wiki says: Johnny Bravo ?). I remembered the phrase without knowing the meaning. I eventually saw Army of Darkness which was really fun. I also heard it in a game. (don't remember this either - wiki: Sam&Max ?) Some years after i heard it was actually from a ancient movie "The Day the Earth Stood Still" where it was the formula used to stop some monster/alien/thing. I never saw the old movie, nor do i intend to. :p
