What Civ attributes would you change if you made Civ III?

I agree that it is impossible to assign just 2 attributes to each civ so I edit the rules give each civ three attributes instead!:) And in response to Uto3's comment about america being militaristic. Your lucky we got involved in both World Wars cause if we hadnt wed all be speaking german. In the game I am playing now I made the americans Industrious Scientific and commercial.

Uto3:

Think before you post! Citing the U.S. as militaristic because we faught Germany and Japan during WWII is crazy. How long did the war go on before we joined militarily! Why did we join? I suppose we joined cause we love war, not because the Japanese attacked us!

Sep 11 attacks have not the changed the way we view the world, other than to open our eyes, and to know we better get even more involved in other coutries business, cause it affects us.
Your right, the U.S. isn't that tough.

Err? What?

The US are definitely militaristic! You don't agree?

Okay, then give me an explanation for the sums the US congress spends on US military each year. Give me an explanation for the need of the B2A-Spirit, the RAH66-Comanche and the F22-Lightning. How many carriers does the US have? How many bases in how many countries all over the world? How many wars have they fought since 1945?

Militarism shouldn't be considered as a negative thing in first sight...

I'm not saying the U.S. isn't militaristic. I'm saying saying citing that the is U.S. militaristic because we faught back in WWII after being attacked is stupid.

Amount of money spent has nothing to do with it. The US culture, while it spends a lot of money to keep its military upgraded with the newest toys, has a fairly small military compared to the size of its population and the amount of land it directly controls. We also, generally, dont have a culture that glorifies and promotes a military life.

For another example, look at modern Japan. Last I looked up the figures, it had the second highest budget to its military. Would you consider MODERN Japan to be a Militaristic culture?
