Here is the saved game have lef
I am trying to get a cultural victory with China, 2 wars have left Vickytwith one city and out for the count, Cyrus is my next rival(I have a big lead over him but in my opinion not big enough) , I trying to organize to build a bigger navy and take his less defended coastline cities or should forget about fighting and put all concentration on cultural improvements?

My plan originally was wait until I had bigger navy, while a well defended army around my borders, then take his coastal cities by doing mini D-day invasions

There was no need to start a new thread on the same game as outlined in your Culture thread.

There's a lot to say about city management and so forth, but I guess my top two recommendations would be;
  • 'Yes' to "forget about fighting and put all concentration on cultural improvements?" You want to build 'Cathedrals' (that is; Jewish Synagogues, Hindu Mandirs, Islamic Mosques, etc.) in Shanghai and Harappan as a priority, and in order to do so, you'll also need Temples in your empire (in this case, 2 Temples per Cathedral - larger maps have different ratios). Beijing is going to become Legendary fairly soon and you therefore don't need 'Cathedrals' there, but you've got some work to do with the other two. b.t.w. Harappan is desperate for Fishing Boats.
  • Swap into Universal Suffrage and Organised Religion and start spending some :gold: (Universal Suffrage) as well as pumping out Missionaries and spreading :religion: through your empire (Organised Religion - you need not select a religion in order to produce Missionaries without Monasteries) - notably start spreading Christianity out of Hastings and Islam out of London. When you're done with 'hurry building' / 'cash rushing' Missionaries, Temples and 'Cathedrals', pump up the :culture: slider to the maximum so Shanghai and Harappan can go to Legendary status. Note that 'hurrying' is cheaper if you have some :hammers: already invested in the build, so alternate between building for a turn and then hurrying the building/unit.
