Yes, you remove all other units from a city (or fort) and move the GG and the ship in.

Wow, should work with a trieme, and then free promotions!!!!! That's a level 5 trieme right away with a charismatic leader.

When this subject last came up no-one answered my question about whether the Great General dons a wetsuit and flippers and swims around after the ship shouting "Woohoo!" when involved in combat :(

How do you actually do this? The destroyer doesn't transport units right??? Never thought of attaching a general to a naval unit before.
Ahhh, destroyers transporting units. Yet another thing I miss from Civ III. :(

Mobile Army Surgical Hospital

Popularized by the 1970 film and 70's and early 80's Tv show, both about an american MASH unit in the korean war.

This is a popular term for a medic 3 scout, explorer or mounted unit in CivIV.
Other units used for medic 3 are not really MASH units because they aren't as mobile. If you don't have any 2 movement units, the mobility isn't an issue, but if using mounted units or tanks, the medic 3 unit needs 2 movement points to keep up, so it is usually best used on a scout, explorer, or chariot.

Scout and explorers cannot have Medic 3

I Can't attach my Great Generals to my ships, I did it once under V 3.02, that Destroyer, just decimated the enemy...

No it won't attach, I know how, move all units out of city, EXCEPT FOR SHIP, click on join or give 20 points exeperience, but nothing happens..no joining:mad:

Settled Great General or 3 in the city producing the Cavarels for the circumnavigation bonus, allows you to produce a Level 2 ship with flanking 1 and navigation 1 and/or 2. 4 or 5 moves over a 3 move ship is a HUGE advantage.

Vassalage, theoracry and 1 settled general, in 2 cities, have your cavarels moving about the world in no time....Maybe a tasty bard ship or 2, or even another civ's cavarel, if you lucky enough to fin.
