What If God Was Real And Manifested Proving It?

Republicans are doing the deception now. Few people are catching it. Republicans and other conservatives are doing everything in their power to make sure that no one recognizes God when he comes.

Now I don't have any reason to think it will be soon. We are not in a godly era. Most of the people claiming to follow God in this era act in the service of Satan. And this drives people away from Faith. So this is the worst of times foe God to declare the End of Times.
One likes hearing tell of the old ones, brother.

If at least god adheres to the axiom of choice, you can establish that some traits of theirs aren't measurable.
Another way (much more monocle'd one) to say that you are trying to establish stuff about a thing which is inevitably defined by humans, and then say that thing can be something regardless of human observers (=>proven). Proven qualities only exist in (human in this case) axiomatic systems, so the thing gets relegated there and at the same time curiously forces its way out.

I believe we are living in biblical times. AI is being taunted as a replacement for God. They're even talking about the ability of AI to write it's own religious texts. Yuval Noah Harari made this statement and can be found using Google. Natural disasters are on the rise, rumors of wars abound, pestilences, there are many more signs if you look around. Never in human history has so many signs mentioned in the bible converged at such a high frequency and magnitude.

People are being driven away from the faith, both believers and non-believers.

2 Thessalonians 2:3

Let no man deceive you by any means: for that day shall not come, except there come a falling away first, and that man of sin be revealed, the son of perdition;

So I think this is the perfect time for the End of Times. Could I be wrong? Yes of course, I'm just a stupid man. For me, however, it's hard not to see the signs of the times.

Edit: BTW IIRC you were a force to be reckoned with when CivIII first came out. At least I remember you posted a lot about the game back then. :)

I think this is just called apophenia

“See that no one leads you astray. 5 For many will come in my name, saying, ‘I am the Christ,’ and they will lead many astray. 6 And you will hear of wars and rumors of wars. See that you are not alarmed, for this must take place, but the end is not yet. 7 For nation will rise against nation, and kingdom against kingdom, and there will be famines and earthquakes in various places. 8 All these are but the beginning of the birth pains."
Matthew 24

Whether people believe the entity to be god or not, is still distinct from how they'd act. It's what happens in the Great Inquisitor chapter, in the Brothers Karamazov.
But they still would be wrong to believe it proved it was god, even if it was.
Jesus blessed, approved, and even loved the Grand Inquisitor and refused to prove himself as Jesus returned. He refused the temptations of the devil (again) that the GI had accepted as the best way to man's salvation. The story is the opposite of the OP scenario.

Amen!

Haha! Yes I can see how it could be called that, however...what if the supreme being loves order and patterns?

But let me take it one step further. I am being hopeful and perhaps a bit naïve but it is that hope (in the Blessed Hope) that brings me comfort.

Well, the apocalyptic events in the Bible are supposed to happen within the lifetimes of at least some of the people Jesus was talking to. So if the prophecies are true, then either the apocalypse has already happened, or there are people almost 2000 years old wandering around...

Pompeii was sufficiently apocalyptic for the people who were affected by the volcanic eruption.

Even Paul the Apostle believe that but then realized later the Apocalypse (i.e. global level apocalypse) did not happen yet. Those that lived in those days thought Jesus would come back soon as in within their lifetimes, but a day to the Lord is as a thousand years to man and a thousand years to man is as a day to the Lord. :)

Since those times though man has been debating when did the apocalypse happen, but it hasn't happened yet because we're all confusing apocalyptic events limited to a local area with The Apocalypse which will take place on a global level and in which none shall escape.

Pretty sure they wouldn't even get a chance because God would get called a a racist sexist everything-phobe the first time he simply said "be nice to people".
(hoping this is taken in the spirit of "goose/gander" ribbing that it is meant)

What’s the joke here?

Oh, you're right - I should have posted a meme, or just an emoji I suppose. I forget the audience sometimes.

If God was on “be nice to people” wouldn’t be hey called woke/communist? That’s the normal joke

The joke is there’s no redemption for bad past speech from the left.

Yes it’s a problem. But unfortunately, it usually bears out in the favor of the judgers.

There have been too many times when men have decided the End of Times is Upon Us. I have no faith in that.

It’s a default human perspective. Some kind of quasi transference of experiencing the significance of one’s existence in the face of personal and forgone death.
