What is a Krepost? What is a Bazaar?

One of the little things that I find frustrating about Civ V is the leader selection screen. The UU and UB is listed with absolutely no information. Not even a "Replaces Market" type popup. I know some of the number crunchers on here probably have a lot of this stuff memorized but I simply don't remember it all.

I'll just back up and flip over to the pedia. Wait, where is it?

Anyone else find this annoying?

If you hover over it it gives the slightly longer detailed description, but yeah, it definitely needs a "replaces barracks" on there as well.

krepost is a barracks that also improves border expansion by 50%. bazaar gives double the number of luxuries within that city's radius. there's a civilopedia online with a sticky at the top of this forum, I actually prefer that to the in-game one.

I agree with the OP. I don't remember what all the UU/UBs do, and when I'm at the leader select screen and I want to figure out who to be, I'd like to know all that info. It's ridiculous for them to not have it available.

im russian, so trust me ;)
krepost means castle or reinforced building. it replaces barracks.
a bazaar is in my knowledge a market which isnt covered (no roof) and comes from arabic. it replaces market.

i just guess wat units the pictures are (a blue rifelmen will help in industrial age) (a building that looks like a castle meens it will help me in wars), but i agree, there must be more info

Well, if you are Russian, you should know that joke: after fall of USSR, we were promised to get market economics, but got bazaar instead.
Bazaar is very corrupted and disorganized market in modern Russian.
It's still good Arabian-specific building in CiV.

As for topic: I think it's extremely easy to remember what each UB and UU does just after reading Civilopedia once or twice. A reminder would be nice, but there are problems of more importance.
