I sense that you don't understand American politics (and war in its own territory).
Well, that escalated quickly.
Live in Minnesota (BEST STATE IN THE UNION) FWIW.
Yes, that's exactly how the conflict starts: the stockpiling of weapons over decades, then a few skirmishes break out into the streets. Then the encounters become more and more frequent, 'cause after all, a secret army doesn't want to reveal their true intentions when the opposing side is in political power, right? Especially if the U.S. possess the most devastating weapons on Earth that would wipe them out of existence, now would they?
Is there a secret army though?
A hundred-odd wierdos with
hitlerjugend haircuts does not a secret army make, unless you have read way too much Turner Diaries fan-fic.
Also, the NSDAP came to public prominence because they expressly rejected the rules of the Weimar government and settled issues on their own with paramilitary intimidation and thug actions. They would show up to hold a rally and the police would be too scared/intimidated to say no.
All the "alt-reich" stateside is doing is whining that they aren't being treated nicely by the powers that be. The NSDAP would have worn that as a badge of pride, the alt-reich embraces their victimhood.
Civil wars happen when two organized groups exist in a single state and one of the groups decides that their goals can no longer be achieved working somewhat alongside the system. All major political groups in the United States are firmly wedded to keeping the US in one piece, any civil war is far off. Heck, even civil disturbances are a long way off.
This is why the charlatan known as trump MUST be impeached among other reasons.
There are many avenues by which His Trumpiness could be impeached, but building a secret army to foment civil war is not in my top 20.
