Just had to make up something gloomy and gothic fast.

I've had so many over the years. . . I'm surprised I've kept this one this long.
My first was The 'Goose, for mongoose. . . I liked 'em in HS. That was twenty years or so ago.
Then I switched to Teaspoon, had that for a while out on Inferno BBS in San Jose, CA back in 90, 91 maybe. There was also a couple other boards I was on back then.
After reading Footfall by Larry Niven and Jerry Pournelle, I switched to Harpanet, a character from that book. After signing on AOL I tried to use it, but someone else grabbed it. So I went with Pastempah, from the same book.
One day I was looking for a different screen name, this was late 99 or early 2k or so. I just happened to be watching TBS at the time (Turner Broadcasting System) and decided I liked Turner, but wanted a number for it. I think there was an airplane commercial on or something, so I went with 727 cuz that sounded better to me than 747, 707, or 777. Been using it ever since. . . Although I might change it to FrogStomper. I'll leave you to figure that one out. . . .

Absolutely nothing. I just played with letters, while choosing a character name for a game once. Then I found out that it was an actual name. Of what place, I don't know.

P.S. As for my name - I used it in an RPG once and liked it enougth that I use it for most online stuff.
