What is wrong with the Bruins?

nobodies going to cry with me? i feel so alone...

Bruins won tonight. They actually put the pucks in the net. They just need to make sure they get the first goal the next 3 games and they'll advance! :D

What is so wrong with the Bruins?
Well who cares for now, they're eliminated! ;) :D
Let them work on their golf game for a while... and maybe find a goalie.

See you next year! Boston-Montréal is something I miss already...

OK guys, the B's are gone. Now that we don't have to worry about games, what should they do in the off season?

I say sign Luango as their goalie, and get Terry O'Reilly back as their coach. When the Bruins hit, they win. Who better then Terry to keep them hitting? The last time he coached for the Bruins they went to the Stanley Cup finals twice.

They aint gettin Luongo. He is Florida.

I think they need a veteran goalie to take them places. They should get someone like Cujo. Everyone here in Detroit like hates him now with a passion so he might be free after someone wins the cup. OR get Dafoe back. He was awesome.

I dunno whats wrong with em. They have good players. But, good players DONT make a good team.

All I know, is that if the B's keep the combo of Hackett and Raycroft, they won't be going to far :(

Andrew Raycroft has a very promising future, he is very talented.

I say get a vet, trade Hackett, and have Raycroft learn some great things from a vet so the Bruins will have a goalie in 5 or 6 years if a vet retires. Raycroft would learn alot from a vet like Cujo. But If you had Luongo and Raycroft, I dont think that would work out too well.

OK, what a bad few days. First, they trade Stumpel back to LA, and now Mike Sullivan is coach. I loved Mike as a player, and I'm sure someday he'll make a great coach, but this just sounds like Steve Kasper all over again to me. One good year as coach in Providence and he's up in Boston. Realizing that there really is a lack of coaches on the market, and the Bruins organization is just cheap, i can see why they did it... but man... in the words of Harry Sinden: the fan base will be dissapearing next season.

Sweeney may be headed to Dallas

Defenseman Don Sweeney may end up playing against the Bruins this winter instead of being part of the Boston organization.

There is talk both in Boston and in Dallas this afternoon that the Stars are holding conversations that could lead to the signing of Sweeney, who is now a free agent.

The Dallas News on its website this afternoon is reporting that the Stars are pursuing the 37-year-old veteran.

At the same time WBZ Radio News is reporting the possibility of Sweeney going to Dallas.

Last month the Boston Globe reported that the Bruins had notified Sweeney he would not be offered another player contract. Since then there have been speculation that Sweeney might join the Bruins as an assistant coach.

Sweeney last season was paid $1.8 million and during the course of the 2002-2003 season he played his 1,000th NHL game.

well, it's official. my favorite player is packing to Dallas. they worked out a 1 year contract.

now I can get a Dallas Stars jersey with Sweeney on it!

I suggest changing your avatar to a Stars logo.

The stars will need a good solid defenseman though, after trading Derian Hatcher to the Wings.

nah, this avatar is staying for awhile. if you haven't seen the movie it's from, i suggest seeing it. it's called "Narc".

Stars fans must be heart broken with Hatchers choice of team.

Hey, Cujo is up for grabs. For cheap money too, since Detroit has to pay for the majority of his contract. Word is the Bruins are talking to him. That would be cool. All we need is a solid goalie who will give Raycroft more time to cook.

We are heart broken. Not only the fact that he left, but it came as a double blow the team he went to. Turco will have lots of shots against him this season.

Colorado is huge favorites to win the cup this year it looks. Heck they signed Paul Kariya to a 1 year, $1.2 mil contract. If they can land CuJo, there's no stopping them this season. Goaltending is their major problem. Not sure how David Aebischer will do as starter.

yeah, the pay cuts that big name players are taking is a very good sign. they realize that the league is in trouble and love the game more then their own ego. Kariya took a 8.8 million cut!

Other people who may get joseph are St Louis, Colorado, boston, NY Rangers, nashville

Boston won't get Cujo. He'll probably want a long term contract and the B's probably won't sign anyone for longer than 1 year because of the work stoppage thing next year :(

Sad to, cause we need a goalie.
