My Favorite is Philosophical it is useful for any type of game, you can use GP for: Golden Ages , culture booms, Bulbing techs, hurry wonders, espionage , super specialists, building holy city economy system, trade missions, Academes, building Corporations....

GP have many uses and can turn the odds or help you catch up the race when you are behind. GP are so much fun and so is Philosophical.

My next favorites are: Organized and Financial (I think organized is better than financial)

IMO less useful traits: Aggressive (useless) and Imperialistic (helps early settlers rush but usually you don't rush cities early in the game because of the maintenance costs).

Looks like Financial is the most popular so far... with Philosophical and Creative coming in after.

Charismatic. Less exp for promotions and more happiness in your cities. You also get additional Happiness point when building a Monument, so keep that in mind. In early game Charismatic is pretty powerful.

I voted for Financial, but creative would be my second choice. I think many people underestimate, how much creative actually changes in a given game. Not having to build this damn monument and having nearly immediate access to the ressources in the outer ring is a benefit that is most often overlooked. Creative essentially changes the way you place cities in the early game. It is also very convenient; being non creative and settling next to Zara makes me angry every time...

Still, financial is my favorite trait because It allows a lot of flexibility (thanks to the way commerce works, it can be used to boost your research / culture or even pay for all the units and Upkeep while I'm warring).

Being non creative and settling next to anyone creative makes me sick :p.

Whenever I'm creative I seem start off with stone really close by..so I just build stonehenge anyway if I can. Great Prophets can't hurt early on.

Creative is definitely good though, cheap libraries and popping borders makes things so much easier in expansion. It's so much easier to box your opponents in when you're creative.

I wish leaders had three traits... Financial, Creative, and Spiritual FTW!

This will be too much and I don't think it is a good idea.

I wish some powerful traits combinations exists like:
- Industrious + Philosophical (Fastest Cultural victory)
- Charasmatic + Creative (Very nice combination)
- Philosophical + Spiritual (Why no leader has this?!)

I am a novice to this game, but except for the benefits the trait itself brings, it seems to me that all the leaders with the organized trait are good. So organized gets my vote.

Industrious I am becoming a wonder spamming.

It's awsome when you play as Louis on earth 18 because the French get stone.

Philosophical is good trait too.

Voted Spiritual.

But it's usually the trait I don't have that I want in any given game. ;)
