What is your favorite quote from the game?

the UN quote is nice and i still find the george w bush quote for the most advanced technology in the game kind of amusing

Personally I hate the bush quote. It's taken totally out of context.

"Anyone who can successfully kiss a girl and drive a car at the same time is not giving the kiss the attention it deserves." or something similar.

"Have I really been vanquished? How interesting"

"Bushido is realized in the presence of death. This means choosing death whenever there is a choice between life and death. There is no other reasoning."
–Yamamoto Tsunetemo

"Our scientific power has outrun our spiritual power. We have guided missiles and misguided men."
- Martin Luther King, Jr.

Because its 100 % true at 2013

I enjoy all the quotes, but the Bush quote was quite disappointing. It's the sort of thing you'd say if you questioned the whole point of history. Past is over. Move on.

Perhaps the Oracle quote by Socrates would be my favourite. Being the first man to know that you know nothing.

The Bush quotation is perfect because of its circular logic, much like Quayle's "The Future will be better tomorrow", since it comes up every time you finish future tech. So you get to hear it over and and over again and it somehow gets more relevant each time.

Whenever ghandi says something along the lines of "there will be no peace" when you are at war with india.

Though the Einstein one may be my favorite, I also like this one:

"Men, like bullets, go farthest when they are smoothest."

There is a quote from Pericles I find quite interesting whenever you build Mausoleum of Halicarnassus..

One of my faves.

"Architecture has recorded the great ideas of the human race. Not only every religious symbol, but every human thought has its page in that vast book."
-- Victor Hugo

Though the Einstein one may be my favorite, I also like this one:

"Men, like bullets, go farthest when they are smoothest."

These two, the Archeology (?) one about Those who cannot remember their history, are doomed to repeat it, and the one Catherine says about being worse fates than becoming your prisoner when you defeat her.

"The bureaucracy is expanding to meet the needs of the expanding bureaucracy."

Oh wait, wrong iteration of Civ. :)
