[RD] What is your greatest achievement?

Greatest Computer Game Achievement: Finally winning at Noble level on CIv IV after two years of trying. I know for some of you guys it would be no big deal, but it was really a moment for me.

Civ IV, or was that a typo? I mean... I don't want to insult. Were you using mods?

It was Civ IV (4). The mod I was using was BAT. I was terrible at it. After almost ten years of BTS, I'm still only a Monarch player, and in fact, usually play at Prince.

I love the game, I'm just not good at it.

Same here.

Or, well, I guess I'm fine at it. I can play at a fairly high level in multiplayer. But when I try to do it by myself, I just sorta go, "What's the point?" and then quit.

Yeah I find it hard to care in single player.

Monarch, or King as I like to call it, is a perfectly reasonable level to play. It's pretty much the last level you can get away with without micromanagement and/or diplomacy. It's the level I usually choose as others are just too much effort. I don't enjoy plotting out optimal tech paths to coincide with my great scientist birth for bulbs, nor do I like having to manipulate warlords into attacking my enemies for me, and I especially loathe timing chops/whips and micromanaging tiles.
