What kind of DLC would you guys like to see?

i really think wonders should be patched instead of sold, but i'd definitely like to see a bunch more of them added to the game, especially some modern and industrial era ones.

I definitely think more modern ones are a good idea. A Hoover's/Three Gorges Dam one is obvious (never should have been removed). I also like the idea of including the Large Hadron Collider. Not sure which others off the top of my head, but there are probably plenty. A good DLC idea would be a modern builders pack. Include wonders so there's art to make it worthwhile, but also include buildings to expand gameplay. Essentially, a DLC version of BtS.

danielshannon, I just played the Ancient Wonders scenario, and I have to agree that having unlocked wonders for social policies is an excellent idea. I'm not sold on the wonders that never were concept, though (for me, achieving historical things is better than achieving historical pipe dreams). I took the liberty of starting a separate thread for ideas on what wonders would fit in those slots.

I have posted this idea in other forums but I will say it again. I would really like to see dlc that included an option to the scenario in multiplayer not just vs ai.

fantasy expansion dlc that adds elf, faerie, and dwarve civs with new fantasy tech tree

I'd really like to see Tibet, Carthage, or the Zulu right now. Don't know about you guys, but Carthage is a pretty big one that they missed out on in the vanilla CiV.

I would love to see a proper expansion of the tech tree to bring in another era - possibly two - along with future tech buildings, units, improvements and wonders.

Either a future era dlc or possibly a civ with a culture win UA. We've had 2 dlc civs just for the beakers would love a cultural one.

I agree about Carthage. A lot of people only think of them in context of Rome, but they were so much more than that as well. Really a no-brainer to include them at some point.

I always like to see more Civs in DLCs. i always feel they are worth the money.

I don't know if this would be done in a DLC or a full blown expansion but I would like to see them re-introduce multiple leaders for each civ. I know we don;t have "traits" as they were in civ4 but extra leader that "behave" slightly different would be a nice addition.

Civs:
Netherlands
Portugal
Zulu
Carthage

Other:
Religions
Corporations
Nomadic Civs (or Nomadic 'city' states)
Colonies
Vassals
Unit workshop
Various leaders per Civ
Revolutions in parts of empire
Culture flipping of territory/buying and selling territory
Sue for peace option

Carthage, Byzantium, the Maya, the Dutch, and ETHIOPIA! No more Zulu please. (At least don't pair the Zulus with anyone.) Also, can we finally get Assyria?

Mine would be Carthage, Zulu, Dutch, Portugese, Canada (ok, call me wishful, but everyone want's their country in it right, and Canada deserves it :D), and WW2 scenario would be ok too.

Yes, scenarios for WW2! Or WW1. Would be nice to see how that works with the 1upt.
And a Crusades scnenario. Rise of Rome, Rise of Prussia, Naspoleonic Era, French and Indian Wars, etc.

I would like to see a DLC that adds the Sumerians.
I find it rather lame that the first known civilization isn't in the game. The Sumerians were spectacular in every way possible. They developed the first writing, understood astronomy, organized irrigation and even mining - and this was 6000 years ago! (4000BC)
They are also the central civilization in the so-called "Ancient astronaut theory" that claims that extraterrestial "gods" (aliens) called The Annunaki, were responsible for the insane increase in knowledge. All the ancient stories about "Gods" flying up to the "heavens" on their "burning chariots" are explained as aliens, flying up to their mothership on rockets/spaceships.

Funny... I never wished to see Australia as a Civilization :)

If Canada is in as a civ, the Anglo-Saxons are over-represented...

Maybe as a city-state...

I kind of hoped to see Sydney as a cultural CS replacement of Seoul when Korean civ was announced ;)

Canada has two city states. Isn't Sydney in as well?

I still think Netherlands and Portugal are too similar as far as playstyle goes.

I think an argument could be made for Netherlands, but only if they go really out of left field and have a Civ without any unique units (a unique building and unique improvement instead). I could see it as the Sea Commerce civ (as opposed to Arabia, which is the land commerce civ and England, which is a sea dominance civ).

But what would Portugal be? Portugal, to me, is a colonial empire, which means naval. They also have famous explorers. How would they differentiate themselves from Spain, England, and the newly added Netherlands (not to mention the Ottomans for cheap boats)?
