What mod is this?

I found an image while doing the rounds on a search engine. Can anyone possibly identify what mod/game this is from or what this is about?

Since the terrain squares are straight up and down instead of on an angle (i.e., "diamond" shaped) I'm assuming this is from civ 1?

But those units aren't used in CivI.

There is a CivII knockoff game -- very similar, and I've tried it. But of course, nothing can compare with the real thing.

Note that it is spelled "CiviliSation" not "CiviliZation" in the title of the game window.

Interesting that the middle forest in the upper right has the diamond shape "behind" it. Plus the Settler unit seems to be "talking" to either the Warrior or the player. Looks like someone is playing with a clone of Civ. What was the web site address?

I'm pretty sure this must be either some sort of mock-up image someone made, or a screenshot of an attempt by someone to create some sort of Civilization-type game.

It doesn't look particularly polished in any case, and it certainly isn't FreeCiv or c-Evo.

It has the same window icon. And the square tiles also match what can be done with its map maker.
