Hi, all!

It seems that everybody begin new thread here for beginning of new game. I'm not sure that it is right, but...
Do anyone want to play with some loudmouthed rookie, eh? (I'm really impressed by your chess-parties, then - I'm afraid I'm not in your level now, but...)

Well, if you can sign me in, does anybody want to play chess?

Thnks & brgds, Alex.

They play chess in Russia?

;)

I have never known a Russian player that wasn't good

I'll play if you like. You may select the color.

We use English algebraic notation obviously. We play for fun really. We tryed a tourny but it hasn't gone so well :(

Dear Smash!

Fine for me.

I'm not very good in "normal chess". I prefer some blitzing, then - that is that.

I think it's not good to try some randomization here. Well, your doing means for me that you prefer Black...

OK.

1. f4

Alex.

P.S. By the way, I will turn up some chess program in my puter for desk seeing. Someone can name it some words, but I prefer name it "age senility" ;).

P.PS. What do you think about my second move g4? Just a joke.

Its fine to use something to look at.

1.f4 e5

I think 2.g4 would be a very good move here ;)

No this is not the format for speculation. This is modern correspondence chess.Play can be very sharp.

You refuse the gambit?..hmmm

1.f4 e5
2.d3 d6

Well, I just don't like all of this Lipke or Lasker variants that crammed all manuals or Chess-programs.

1.f4 e5
2.d3 d6
3.e4

By the way I'm not so sure, that I've already refused any gambit. Usually I return this pawn in any way - then why bother?

1...e5 is From's Gambit.Often the best way to deal with gambits is to accept them. Not always though :D

1.f4 e5
2.d3 d6
3.e4 Nc6

1.f4 e5
2.d3 d6
3.e4 Nc6
4.Nc3 Nf6

Perhaps.I just know I have had some bad experiences with anything with the name Bird attached to it

OK.

1.f4 e5
2.d3 d6
3.e4 Nc6
4.Nc3 Nf6
5.Nf3

I'm afraid it's not Bird, but some really uncharted waters after 2. d3 ... now. But anyway you can do my fifth move anyway. Alas, it was obvious, but necessary evil.

with brgds, Alex.

P. S. Excuse be for so long waiting - it's my twisted time shedule.

Just move whenever you can.No real schedule or anything.

Yes these waters are somewhat uncharted. This is not my first voyage up these waters though, but I have no maps from previous expeditions :)

1.f4 e5
2.d3 d6
3.e4 Nc6
4.Nc3 Nf6
5.Nf3 Be7

Easy choice for me :D

Next one may not be so easy :cringe:

1.f4 e5
2.d3 d6
3.e4 Nc6
4.Nc3 Nf6
5.Nf3 Be7
6. Be2 O-O

OK.

I was afraid your more drastic measures. In last turn I was dreamed about 2 or 3 my turns in a row for stabilising. (This 2.d3 is really damaging because my white bishop is intended to be in c4 square & I use it especially due to my opponent very seldom to know what must be their course of action in... Bird? Or we can consider it as some branch of Vienna gambit with my white bishop stucked in King flank, or - old & famous King Gambit reincarnated?)

Let's fun to begin!

1.f4 e5
2.d3 d6
3.e4 Nc6
4.Nc3 Nf6
5.Nf3 Be7
6. Be2 O-O
7. h3

It really is quite a mess isn't it?.I've seen messes like this in all of those openings.I don't really know how to proceed right now.Seems I only have bad plans available ;).
Its going to be complicated I can see.

1.f4 e5
2.d3 d6
3.e4 Nc6
4.Nc3 Nf6
5.Nf3 Be7
6.Be2 O-O

Who is your favorite player?...please don't say Fischer ;)

OK.

1.f4 e5
2.d3 d6
3.e4 Nc6
4.Nc3 Nf6
5.Nf3 Be7
6.Be2 O-O
7.h3 Nd4
8. g3 ...

Yeah, it begin to be very hairy thing.

You will laugh, but I like Morphy. Without any profound schooling he was just marvelous.

With brgds, Alex.

I'm getting into a little trouble here
