Actually, not to offend anyone, everyone is black. People origionated from africa, so it can be said all people are africans.

I'm not black although I may have originated from Africa. I can tell when I look in the mirror. Being Black means you or your ancestors lived in an extremely hot climate for many millenia, and the colour hasn't been diluted by racial 'exchange'.

This is why colour 'fades' the further north you go. This is the reason why Swedes are mostly blonde haired. It's the reason why people in the Med have better sun-tans than people in Northern Europe.

It's all about the suns effect on you. That's why, even though you are Black, you have much lighter palms and soles of your feet.

Interestingly predictable results, I'm glad i made this poll despite needless criticism from whiners.

It seems a majority of civ players, or at least civ players that post on forums, are indeed white.

There is however a small asian percentage and absolutely no hispanic percentage whatsoever.

Your post might be taken out of context (as is the norm here), but you are correct. I'd be amazed if more than 1 or 2 of the posters who polled 'who cares' was not white.
