Because I do not like it or them. Half of my first Japanese class was a bunch of nerds asking how to say "Sword of the Fallen Warrior" in Japanese while they were still stumbling over katakana. Luckily, they fell out after the first year or so.

Just because you dont like anime/manga does not give you the right to impose your morals and opinions onto other people. Not all people who enjoy anime/magna are nerds. Its as silly as me saying that all rap is made by guys who glorify the gansta life.

I, personally, can't see why people get so obsessed with japanese animations/comics. Alright, these people enjoy such things, but I can't comprehend why they are so intensely obsessed. It frightens me.
I know, right? That's the thing about the anime people. They are so into it and have no sense of humor about it.
I don't understand why train spotters stand on platforms and endlessly take down train numbers.Or why people who do jicksaws can spend days achieving a picture that was better represented by the artist, and not actually paint themsleves, Or why people obsessively collect stamps, or watch birds, like the twitchers. But I certainly wont chastise them for it, each to their own, even if they are nerds and geeks about a thing, we all are about something. Potato there's probablly something that you are a nerd about that most couldn't understand in a month of Sundays.

After being harped at for saying rap is "(c)rap" just because I never heard it, does kind of put sense into me that its esentialy the same thing. Just ask anyone who I used to disagreed or argued with who actualy like rap.
