What should we do next? (discussion on what to do after our victory)

Yes, the thread has started! This is where we'll have discussions on what to do after our victory on August 10th (or August 11th - depending on a poll). The question is, should we continue with the game? Or start over.

I will post this as a poll, even though it's in the citizen's group, since it's more of a discussion. If we do wish to start a new game, what should our world be like?

I think we should start a new game... Playing this one was fun, but it's starting to get boring.

I also think we should begin a new game... get a chance to change civ, change our enemies, explore a new world. I would vote for it, but I still can't vote, and I don't feel like bothering Duke again.

We should start a new game. If possible, we should do what the civ2 demogame did and archive this forum, and start a new one.

New game, new elections. Otherwise it is very unfair to the governors.

We should do both. Start a new game, Demogame2, so this idea can carry on, but keep this game active as Demogame1 so the RPG people can use it. And anyone else who wants the play in it, RPG or not.

I would go for new game, with some reluctance. There's a lot of work we did in this demogame which may not be importable to the next.

I think creating a new game is inevitable when we win, and likely will occure immediately.

We've gotta decide the conditions though.

Land size, land type, humidity, age, warmth, etc.

More importantly... Civ and Difficulty.

Greece is a nice developmental civ to play. Hoplites stand up well to dominos

We need new elections. The first term in this game was appointed.

I see nothing wrong with continuing this one for a little while anyway. It will take timne to set up the next game. Much ground work was done in this game that should improve the next but I think a bit of discussion is in order concerning exactly what we want to carry over and what we don't want to carry over.

No I think that we should start over. I alwasys think that the game gets a bit stale when you have won and especialy when there are no new tech to develope. Plus I think that as you reach the end of the game you have all of the power that you could ever want and so there are no wars, you dont build anything in your cities (all has been built already) and you cannot progress in science. This makes the game rather dull from my point of view.

I think that we should start a new thread and that having 2 games going as propossed by Donsig wouldnt work cause people would loose interest in the first (sorrey Donsig).

I think that Germany should be choosen as it is Milituristic and Scientific.
