What's the highest difficulty level you can win on at least 90% of the time?

I'm strong in Warlord

I'm getting close in Noble, I just need to fine tune my diplomacy and I know I'll start winning.

Can win a vast majority of Monarch games, in fact just had a 450k 1110AD blowout win (Rome/Pangea/Dom). I need a good start to be competitive on emperor. Haven't even touched immortal/deity.

Hmmmm I would have said 2 months ago Pince, but having won 6/6 of my last Monarch games, its gotta be Monarch (thanks to the forum for their advice on this ) I'm currently about 50% on Emperor - I tend to overly cripple myself too much and units go on strike but if they don't then I rock

BTW what is OCC? Sounds tricky from the previous descriptions

One city challenge, you can't build settlers but can have up to 5 national wonders (and you only need 1 uni for Oxford, etc.)

Probably Monarch, though I think I could manage on Emperor too if I would pick civilization/leader. With random leaders I am approximately ~50/50.

Monarch, though my favourite settings (marathon speed and no tech brokering) make it easier than a 'standard' Monarch game. Maybe half way between prince and monarch. Though in my current game shuffle map with a random leader gave me Ragnar on an archipelago It's probably easier than the average noble game.

Having said that, I haven't tried Emperor for ages, maybe its time I did...

I never lose on Prince, and I'm ok on Monarch.

But I've never won a Space Race, except on Settler.

I can win almost all games at Prince. About 60% of my games at monarch. And like 1% of my games at Emperor if I reload a previous save a bazillion times

For me should be emperor, as I lose probably 1/3 of my Immortal games. But my philosophy now is that if your're winning non-stop, you need to get up a level... I lost way too much time in Noble

Prince, I think. I've played about 15 prince games, and lost 1 of them (which means I spent far too long on noble as well.)

Noble I win almost all my games. I'm so - so on Prince.

Emperor (about 90% of the time wins) - no restarts, no Worldbuilder shenannigans, no reloads, barbs on, normal speed. (Let me add that I consider, at times, coming in 2nd to be about just as good as a win. I think I come in first about 60%-70% of the time, with 2nd place finishes about 20-30% with an occasional fun crushing defeat of my people every now and then).

For me it's emperor. If I'm losing on emperor it's because i do a little gambling and the barbarians kill me in the begining . I can win around 1/3 of the immortal games but it is getting really difficult as I'm playing as a pacifist but never go for cultural or diplomatic victory ( so normally i win with space race.). I only dow if i get boxed and couldnt get enough city for Oxford.

Emperor. I think I could do Immortal, but I've never tried.

Monarch as Emperor is the first level where the AI has a chance of defending itself against an early axe or chariot rush.
