what's the most useful thing you learned?

so, what's the most important thing you have learned at this site?
many of us begun at CFC asking dumb questions 8sometimes still asking dumb questions) but as time has passed we have learned many useful thing to enjoy more the game.
what has been the most, or one of the most important things you got from CFC?
I'd say many, but the most useful was how to mod the game.
thanks to that tool I've been able to mod the game the way I enjoy the most.
so, what about you?

The most usefull thing i learned was that my one victory on diety was lucky and now i have to read and re-read most of the epics by people like Zachriel and Bamspeedy to try to make it happen again.

Actually, the best thing I have learned is how to declare war on the harder levels (regent and above) and to not be killed by the AI.

Well, as someonelse said it before me, this site is slowly turning into a social-politic discussion ground. Civilization has become just a pretext for sometimes inspired and challenging discussions. The kid that used to waste his nights playing "the longest and best game ever" has now turned into a well informed and intelligent individual...

Take away the loads of spam and this place might be the perfect site...

I've learned some things about modding, can't pick out a single one.
I also obtained very useful utilities for that pupose.

I'm sure I also learned some things in OT as well as the History Forum, but can't point at a specific one their either.

yeah, here you understand many of the things happening in the other side of the world.
and realize people's arguments to defend their point of view.
if we sometimes dont agree, now I know why UN takes too much time to an agreement
