Whats your dream start?

I just had one that I think was a great start. It was in the desert one side was all hills the other side was all flood plains.

Spawn in as Spain and all around me are all the Natural Wonders and resources. Tons of flood plains, mountains, hills, and desert tiles. And it's on a coast too. This is truly Shangri-La.

Best possible would be as Spain and have Deep Sea Rift times 2 off the coast near you in one direction and in the other have El Dorado near you.
Salt as the primary luxury.
All secondary luxuries either requiring Mining or Calendar [but not on jungle]
And map such that all cities with be all three of coastal, on rivers, and next to a Mountain.

Celts, surrounded by forest and Sri Pada with the city settled on a hill, with salt, marble and oil in the second ring out from the city. Either that or anything involving Korea next to Mt. Fuji.

Pagaea : Anything isolated with enough space and good land for 5-6 cities with a wall of cs in front of you is almost an auto win.

My dream start ? No jungle.

Just one time, I want to start as Spain with Krakatoa nearby. And the Barrier Reef on the other side.

But my favorite starts are desert, mountain, river, with salt, marble. That sort of thing. Lots of production. Build Petra win.

I do really like Inca hill/mountain starts too. Those are fun.

I've tried to get a nice marshy start for the danes... polders. I still don't like how desert floodplains are better with them than the marshes that they were actually used for. Meh.

Start as any civ close to both Songhai and Spain. FREE EXPANSION!

So close to a city-state that I can take its settler with my original warrior. Starting with a free worker is nice.

And then throw in some salt, desert hills, natural wonders, and sheep for a bonus.

Next to India or Venice, because they hardly expand much (with Venice obviously none). Lets me relax a bit and settle at opportune time rather than rush to beat a land whore like Hiawatha who spreads like the plague.

Two tile snow peninsula? Omg Hiawatha loves it and plonks down a city. So basically my dream starts are next to civs with low expansion favors.

I prefer Swedish Conquistadors.
