What's your favorite Tv-14 cartoon show?

Hi, yet another poll (I like polls) by me but this time the premise is what is your favorite Tv-14 cartoon show? My favorite is Beavis & Butthead and a close second would be Southpark.

I like Southpark. Also funny is Aquateens and that one show with the talknig meatball on Adult swim. I also liked Gundam when it was on.

At MjM: Aquateen Hunger Force is the show with meatwad. Also, I did use search and the only thread like this was made by Fifty like two months ago (but it didn't have a poll) so don't say I am ripping you off!

First of all, everyone should immediately acknowledge that The Simpsons is the best out of all of them, by FAR. You may not prefer it for entertainment, but no sane person would dispute that it is the best of them all. For Christ's sake, most people would say that the Simpsons is the best (or at the very least among the top five) TV show of all time, let alone cartoon.

An interesting thing about internet forums is that everyone on them seems to love Family Guy. Personally, I hate Family Guy.

My ranking includes only shows that I've seen a good deal of.

My ranking:

1. The Simpsons
2. Beavis and Butthead
3. King of the Hill
4. Futurama
5. Southpark
6. Family Guy
7. American Dad

It is between South Park, Family Guy, and the Simpsons. I really can't choose. All three are great. But if I really had to choose, South Park.

Yeah-the Simpsons is one of the best of all time-but right now I think South Park is funnier-I just started watching family guy and it's pretty good-the Beavis and Butthead to King of the Hill sure shows range I must say.

I know Beavis & Butthead, SouthPark, and Sealab 2021 and another show no one has probably ever heard of before on [adultswim] at 12 A.M. Perfect Hair Forever that I was debating whether to give multiple votes but I think people can make the choice.

The tv-14 shows I own on dvd and watch almost every time they are on are:

8) Family Guy (I'd rate it higher but I hated the third season).

I know but I wanted to include as many as I could think up (no matter how crappy) because I don't want the same results as my fast food thread where like 80% of the people voted for In-And-Out or Burger King and I thought no one would!

Oh, I see. TV-14 you say? With the kids being 4 and 2, we watch too much Barney, Sesame Street, Bob the Builder, etc...

I don't know. I'm not a big fan of the genre, but what I've seen of recent Simpsons episods, quite frankly, sucks. The Simpsons may have been great at one time, but it now is but a shadow of its former self.

Yeah, the first three seasons were awesome but after that it became really boring and basically they have done everything now. Also, they are so mainstream and mass marketed they are no longer cool. Where as with other shows like the ones down at Cartoon Network's [adultswim] are (for the most part) some of the greatest shows I have seen in my short life!

Futurama is the best, so much funnier then the simpsons with the same loveable graphics.

of that list, south park by far. Futurama would be second, the others i dont watch regularly. Simpsons is out dated now, the thing has gone on too long IMO.

Futurama by far. The Simpsons is good, but its too constrained by reality, and the jokes are just repeating.

Yea iguess you get FBI counter-terrorism guys come arrest you. seriously, is there any reason at all to give TV programs age ratings? here you just go by what time its on. before 9pm wont have anything really bad on, past 9 its no holds barred.

Futurama is my favorite, followed closely by the Simpsons. The rest I don't like (Family Guy, South Park), or haven't seen, but have no interest in seeing (American Dad, Aquateen, Beavis & Butthead).

Although, I also like King of the Hill, but it's no where near Simpsons and Futurama.
