Personally, for me it's always been laundry. I had to go to laundromat today in the snow... smoking indigents, on old lady walking around soaked in her own urine, no cart available and only the bad dryers available. Hate it.

My favorite chore is dishwashing, very soothing to me I don't know why.

I wish the sun would just burn my lawn to a crisp every summer so I dont have to mow.

OR

I wish it wouldn't snow 20" so that I have to shovel it and catch a cold and miss school for 2 days.

I always have cuts on my hand from wrestling my dog, so Dishes is always brutally painful for me

I actually like outside chores now that I don't have parents making me do them. We have a washer and dryer, but it still sucks, especially since not all of the womans' clothes can go into the dryer and I have to ask whenever I do it.

Dishes blow, as does cleaning of any kind. In that respect, I very much miss living alone, when cleaning was taking the papers off the card table.

Maybe if you let your significant other see this, you won't have to miss being alone any more!!!

Yeah, I should have put shovelling snow in with cutting the lawn, they are similar in my mind.

Nah, she has no idea what I post...

Or does she...?

"Heh, heh...just kidding honey, I LIKE living with you, really!"

Shopping for food. I detest it. There's no fun in it, it's tiring, one is surrounded by idiots, the people on the checkout don't seem to know which country they're in half of the time, and one leaves £50 poorer. :ack:

It's a heck of a way to spend one's Saturday morning :ack:

There is nothing worse than washing dishes. I don't mind laundry and general cleaning but whenever I get dragged and shackled to the sink, I just lose the will to live.

Favorite: Washing dishes
I guess I found it usefull as we need the dishes for the next meals.

Least favorite: Mowing lawn
Can't really think of something good coming out of this, except for the way your house looks. Uncut lawn usually means the crazy people house

Nice cute topic Sultan. I think you deserve this ;) (That would make a nice avatar)

 De Lorimier.

Things need a change up now and then, and I thought of this as I suffered at the laundromat.

On the zen of washing dishes:

When I lived with three other guys in college and we all just dumped our crud in the sink for it to turn green, dishes were indeed a nightmare, and on the weekly roster we set up to get the chores done, we called the worst spot "The Poor Dishes Bastard".

However, an old monk tells the secret of Zen- "When you are finished eating, wash your bowls!" and I always make sure the sink is empty as soon as possible. The removal of the filth, the play of the water, are all very enjoyable. Teflon is a must.

I feel the same way, although my back does get sore sinceI am 6'2" and most sinks are made for women that are 5'8". :(

My mosted hated would have to be the cleaning types: Washing bathroom, cleaning cat litter, vacuuming, etc.

Shop online, you Luddite. Get onto Tescos now.

Yes, I used to use Sainsbury's, but then they didn't do it where we lived. We've recently moved so it's something we'll look at again.

Like the picture De Lorimier :yeah:

Call me a sexist pig, but on that list the only one I do is mowing the lawn. My wife does the rest. OK OK I change the odd diaper and was the rare dish but I work and she stays at home, those are the roles we chose.

BTW I hate mowing the lawn. I would much rather go fishing or wrestle with my little ones.

I really don't do any chores, actually. We have a driveway, so my dog does his buisness there. Parents wash the dishes, do the shopping...

I guess out of the oens I rarely do, it would be doing laundry and picking up dog crap. I hate picking up dog crap!

Hang in there wes, once the little ones aren't so little, they'll be able to mow the lawn for you!

Mowing the Lawn. At least I get paid! :yeah:

:o My least favorite chore is picking my wife's socks off the floor, before I've had my morning coffee. I probably take too much initiative.

Dishes are a joy. As I prepare meals in the kitchen, my aim is to clean as I cook so the kitchen's spotless when it's time to eat.

Lawn mowing - it smells and I might step in dog crap without knowing it since our neighbor's stupid pets always seem to venture into our yard.
