Mr Howell was the hands down funniest character on that show.

I have never head of this before. However from your posts I assume that is some crappy American television show that thankfully hasn't made it over the pond (kind of like I Love Lucy).

Gilligan's Isle is one of the most popular old sitcoms in American history! It clobbered I Love Lucy in viewer population. However the NETWORK hated it. That's why it only ran 3 seasons. But anyway, Many people are Gilligan's Isle Fanatics. Including me!

The great thing about Gilligan's island is that even though it was about a band of castaways on an island .... they regularly managed to have "guest stars".

I also vote for Mary Ann.

I didn't know I Love Lucy hasn't made it there too. That's very weird.

What's weird is that the British sitcom 'Only Fools And Horses' never made it across the ocean. I know that it may be difficult for some Americans to understand (language wise) but with it being consistently voted one of British television greatest ever programs you would have thought someone would have bought it in the American market.

I also loved Ginger as a kid and used to get angry at Gilligan and the Professor for not bonking her.

Now, well Mary Ann is more my cup o tea.
