I remember one time I cornered a diplomat with my catapult. I engaged and he killed me somehow :\ (They have 0 defence!) I was a small child at the time, but I understood the basics of how a catapult worked (Fling rocks). I thought that the catapult must have missed, and while my guy was reloading, the diplomat ran up to him and pulled out a knife and stabbed him. I had a fear of diplomats for years (Not just in-game, but in real life too although I had never met/seen one of course). I got over my fear shortly after I watched "Goldeneye" since James bond was a diplomat.

I've had this happen a few times. As I understand it, it has something to do with some algorithm somewhere (as that is what the game is behind the graphics).

Phalanx on mountain destroys Battleship = I imagined jagged and treacherous shoreline and phalanx mebers hiding between rocks; the battleship ran aground and sank while maneuvering to be able to bombard them.

Patroclus finally succumbs to heavy shelling from the battleship, which is anchored several miles off the coast. Achilles storms out of his tent in high sorrow and rage. He lets out a mighty warcry that instantly kills several crewmen aboard the battleship. Intimidated, it withdraws further into the oceanic channel and continues its bombardment at maximum range. In the shadow of the mountain, Nestor and Odysseus conspire with Athena to build a cunning wooden fish. It floats toward the battleship on the rip tide, and is hauled up after the sonar reveals no warheads. Achilles pops out and slaughters the entire crew within minutes. He drives the ship ashore but cuts his foot on a rock after disembarking.
