I have refused to buy Civ 6 because I know that it is full of bugs. I've played all the Civ games since the original version starting over 20 years ago. And I've noticed that the recent versions are especially buggy and full of crashes. It usually takes at least a year or two before the game is stable, IMHO.

So I am waiting for a gold pack or any kind of bundle. That's usually when it seems okay to buy. For Civ 5, I spent like $150 on the game and all the expansions. I know I can't wait until a Complete bundle (right now, Civ 5 Complete is $40 or $50 on Steam and includes everything, I think). But I want to wait until there is at least some kind of savings and the major bugs are fixed.

So when do you think the first bundle will come out?

Also, what do you think will be in the bundle and how much will it cost?

Who knows? They could drop the whole 'expansion pack' thing and just get their money from dlc which is just more new Civ's.

We're coming up fast on the 1 year anniversary. Don't they usually announce the first x-pack by then?

There's another DLC pack being worked on which is now included in the Deluxe Edition, wouldn't surprise me if there was a sale when the DLC is launched (likely next month which would be about a year from release).

Highly doubt that - expansion packs are where you change mechanics etc, just having DLCs would be highly restrictive for the Developers.

We might see an Expansion Pack next summer (I think Brave New World, Gods and Kings and Beyond the Sword all had July releases). So you'd be waiting at least one year from now before that expansion sees any reduction in price.

As far as a bundle per se... I assume there won't be one until the game is complete, several years from now. You will see the Deluxe Edition (with all DLCs) and any Expansion Packs come down in price with sales etc before then though.

Here is a list of all the (german) civ5 release dates. So you can maybe get an idea what to expect.

Depends on what is meant by a "bundle". I mean, the digital deluxe is a "bundle" with all the DLC, and it was on sale for the Steam Summer Sale, so would presumably be on sale again during the Winter Sale. The next DLC/Patch should be out by then which should fix more issues.

Every expansion will also introduce new flaws, so if you want to wait for an expansion to come out, have a few patches to fix the new bugs, and then be on sale, you'll be waiting a while (likely not until next year's Steam Winter Sale).
