Where are you from?

Richmond Hill, Ontario, which is part of the Greater Toronto Area(same place as Grandraem).

What kind of easter eggs will they be? Will your mod have aspects of everyone's cities in it? Or is it a surprise?

I'm leaving in France, near Mazamet. Population: 10,000 for the city, 25000 for the Urban area.

The closest (90km) big city is Toulouse. Population: 440,000 for the city, 1,100,000 for the Urban area.

I am keeping a running tab in the first post.

@Bengal Tiger - Nothing too fancy. Current plan is to place a unique barb unit for each of you in your home location you specify. Large cities are already mapped, but if you are not reasonably close to one I can just Google Earth your home town and place you accurately that way. I may change how I do this later, but for now that is the plan. Your name may appear in Great Leader lists instead, if your home country is one of the 30 player civs.

@WildWeazel - IIRC correctly, you are a software engineer, as opposed to construction, so I guess runner = scout. For you, since you land in one of the 30 preplaced player cities, you will have one of their preplaced units named after you. The Americans are Expansionist and Industrious, so they get an additional scout and worker to begin with. If they had the scientific trait, you would qualify there, too. Or, alternatively, I could place you in Baltimore as a preplaced named barb. Or you could be a great leader for the Americans. So many choices...

When I was a kid there was a board game called The Monster that devoured Stockholm, inspired by the Japanese monster movies. One player was the monster, trying to wreck specific places in Stockholm given randomly. The other player was the humans, getting reinforcements from police, military and fire dept to try to stop the monster. Fun as hell :D (More info about that game here)

I've seen a few variations of similar games for different locations. Gameplay will be similar to that for at least most the planned Modzilla scenarios, though at least one will allow interspecies diplomacy, and another will be fully monster-on-monster action with Puny Humans as the Barbs. :)

Scout is fine :)

See attached, very early screenie....

I'm from Reading in the UK, but I guess you'll have to stick me in London, since that's really the only place in the UK with population over 1 million. And Reading's pretty close to it anyway.
UK city populations.

You can put me in as a resident of the People's unDemocratic republic of Kirchneristan (Buenos Aires, Argentina).

P.S. Rio de Janeiro is not the captial of Argentina!!!!!!!!!

Born in St. Louis Missouri. City Over 3 Million.
Lived in several other places and States...now live about 180 miles away from St. Louis in the Southeast corner of Missouri, 5 miles outside a small town of 2500 people in the Ozark Mountains by the Mark Twain National Forest.

I am from SPACE. Oh boy oh boy! Space! Astronauts, black holes, nebulae, Jupiter. What is your favorite thing about space? Mine is SPACE. Lets spell it: S..P....AAAACE! Space.

But now I live in the Cleveland area. The city itself is now under 400,000 people for the first time since 1900. But roughly 2.7 kajillion people live in the Cleveland Metro area which confuses my brother-in-law because he is from Nevada where there are no people. Oh, and the Indians just got Jim Thome back, which is awesome. I met him once. He had/has a house in the Barrington gated community in the tony suburb of Aurora, just down the road from where I live. When I worked at the terrible gas station I worked terribly at he came in to pay and I went GUAGAHAGDFNFNHAHFF and couldn't say anything. This didn't happen when I met Ricky Carmicheal. I made sure of that.

Also Vuldacon, the Ozarks and the Ozark foothills are gorgeous. I drove through them on a roadtrip to Oklahoma three summers ago.The place where I went, Pyror, Oklahoma, was just beyond the last edge of the Ozark foothiils.

I was born and lived most of my life in Christchurch, New Zealand. Although it's nowhere near Christchurch, I guess you will have to use Auckland for me as that's the only city in New Zealand with a population over 1 million.

Great idea putting CFC users in the mod.

Running tab updated. I can place you guys in your exact town location, provided it exists in Google Earth.

@Vuldacon - what is your town name?

@GoldFlash - I am afraid you will have to settle for Cleveland :P

@Georgestow - I actually have 6 more cities after London:
Liverpool
Birmingham
Leeds
Newcastle upon Tyne
Sheffield
Glasgow
I can still place you where Reading is located.

@Blue Monkey - that, and I have heard of one based on Chicago too.

@WildWeazel - all cities that have a pop > 1 million that are not the capitol of one of the starting nations are represented this way, for now. The amount of barbarians is a bit insane though, may have to tone it down.....

I will try to customize each EE to fit each of you, from what I know of you over the years, but don't expect much :)

I'm from Delaware, Ohio, America. The closest city with 1mil+ is Columbus, Ohio, which is also the state capital, so more reason to add it. Alternatively, you could place me in London, since I really want to be British.

Unit Graphics here.

Columbus is in fact bigger than Cleveland. We have cooler stuff, though. Like the West Side Market, Severance Hall, that stupid Free Stamp that everyone but my sister hates, Space, The Rock and Roll Hall of Fame which is ugly and the induction process is totally rigged, but it has Lady Gaga's Meat Dress in it, the recently renovated Soldiers and Sailors Monument, Space, and Playhouse Square, just to name a few.

Columbus has John Kaisch and the Buckeyes, both of which I am not thrilled with at the moment.
