Where is my Darth Mod?

For the past months I've been switching between Rome Total Realism and Europa Barbarorum, but I decided to try Darth's mod because I was likin' the way it sounded. So I followed the instructions: Install Clean RTW, then patch 1.3, then patch 1.5, then install mod. But I opened up RTW only to find that the game had not changed at all! I thought I made a mistake so today I uninstalled/reinstalled RTW and Darth's mod (which takes like 40 minutes ), but it still doesn't change the game! So does anyone know what's wrong? Anyone been through this?

I think you have to downlaod and install v8.0 then install v8.1

It installed just fine for me, the loding screens have changed, and there's also provincial campaigns and some new units and nations to play. These are all visable from the main menus.

If those havn't changed and you installed both versions, then, I don't know.

Well I haven't installed 8.1, but I try it out and get back. I was under the impression it should work now...

Forget about it, it was my own incompetence, I installed it in C:/programs/Activition/Rome Total War (the default on the installer) instead of C:/Program Files/Activition/Rome Total War.

Activision isn't mentioned ANYWHERE in the manuals or that logo screen.

The Activition logo dances around my screen when I start the game; it must be thing only in the original edition.

Its because Activision first published RTW vanilla but Sega published the later RTW versions.
