Not really... as I stated, I had to ban him over at Poly for bringing it up there. (In at least sent him a PM and told him why he was restricted )

Seems "not much happened" is the answer.

I never heard of this guy till you told me about what happened Ming, nobody seems to have a clue about this.

Hmmm....basically here's what happened:

1) Choke got banned
2) He didn't bother even trying to post for days after when he finally noticed it.
3) You banned him at 'poly.
4) He got bored and decided to have a friend post about it here rather than just pming or e-mailing the administration.
5) Now Ming is out for blood and floppa's out for bans.

That's pretty much it.

And that's the really sad part. Nobody outside of PBEM probably knows him. A guy with few posts, who posts only on topic, and nobody seems to care that he was restricted for no reason, and nobody is willing to stand up and take responsibility for it.

I would hope and expect whomever banned this poster would have the decency to at least admit it, a poster should not be banned for no valid reason.

Heck, who really cares what the reason was, the person should still stand up and admit it. You can always argue whether the reason was valid or not... but you can't argue that the person should stand up and admit it. Yeah, common decency!

It just makes mods everywhere look bad. Too many times we take grief by being accused of using our authority improperly.

Things like this lend credibility to those kinds of accusations. Any good mod should be offended when things like this happen.
