Which one to install?

Hello all I wanna try C2C but don't know which one to install. Would someone tell me what is the difference between SVN version and version 27 (seemed to be the latest version)? Thanks a lot.

Basically v27 is a stable release. It works well most of the time. I'd recommend v27 if you have never played C2C before. The SVN is the "work in progress" toward the next release, and thus is often very buggy.

Do look through the 'C2C FAQ' thread as well, that answers many common questions.

Conversely, the SVN is also where bugs have been fixed from the version release... so yeah, its a bit of a mixed bag. Its experimental territory(so can have added bug and design flaws) but also has some of the bugs from the last version repaired. So best to start with the version release but if you run up against something you can't get around, try the SVN next.

If you are just starting use V27. The SVN requires a bit more experience to set up correctly, and can be a pain at times (and also break unexpectedly).
