Seeing the "Freedom Rock" thread just now made me think of Schoolhouse Rock for some reason. I know you all still love them, which one is your favourite?

You know. I do not know one of the mentioned schoolhouse rocks!

What is a schoolhouse rock anyway?

I vote Janet. Is she good looking?

Schoolhouse Rock was a cartoon used to make learning fun for young Gen-Xers. Some of them were silly and sappy, but most were entertaining.

Check out their website

Janet is here She's no Jessica Rabbit, that's for sure.

I'm still not sure which one is my favourite. I always liked I'm Just A Bill of course, but also No More Kings, Conjunction Junction and Interjections ...

Electricity

I have long wanted to start this thread, thanks, great idea.

I also like Naughty Number Nine, and 3 is a Magic Number

I got this video tape for my kids for christmas, I like it as much as they do, probably more because I remember all of them from when I was young

Loved the train cars in Conjunction Junction.

other good ones were Electricity, Energy Blues, and Victim of Gravity.

I broke down and voted for Interjections. I think I liked it as a child because the song was more upbeat than some of the others, like Figure Eight.

"I'm Just a Bill" is the greatest. Even better is when the Simpsons parody it...he's singing on the steps and he is picked up by a garbage man and thrown into a sack.

"The Preamble". Mostly because in high school we had to memorize the preamble for American History. Thanks to SHR I already had it memorized.

Cant beat conjunction junction, 3 is a magic number and shot heard round the world either.

I've only seen some but they were pretty cool I loved the line

Conjunction Junction what's your function?

And I love when Simpson's does the Bill one hehe

BILL!!

Electricity Eeeeeeeeeelectricity. :D

of course, there is something awfully catchy about Lolly lolly lolly get your adverbs here
AND
I described him with Adjectives "
he was a hairy bear he was a scarry bear.......

I remember "Conjunction Junction" as a third grader, and I saw the one about the Revolutionary War. I'll have to rent them again and see them.
