True, however i dont like square tupperwares since the corners make it difficult to mop it up with bread.

See? Circular shipping containers just wouldn't work.

One example of a good use for square does not make it a better shape. If you'll notice the ship carrying the containers is rounded. The propellers driving the ship are rounded. The heads of the captain and crew are rounded. point, set, match.
